turbo and psi issues......

i would step on the gas and reach 5 psi of boost with no problem. step on the gas alittle more and when i hit 10psi of boost it feels as if the turbo reached its max and i feel it go and then slow down the only way to describe. what occurs is like driving down a hill and you dropped the car into 1st gear and feel that sudden jerk of slowing you down but the jerk is very minimal. i know when i purchased the car it was set to 14 psi so i went on some back and stepped on the car hard and i reached 14 psi but around 10 psi the car would do that thing when it seems like the turbo maxed out. what is it this S****t its annoying?

umm what kind of turbo ? if its a stocker t25 , thats normal. That thing spools up so fast then just falls on its face.

yeah i believe its the stocker but why do it react like that only around the 10 psi but not around 5psi or 14psi???

its because your not flooring it so its not maxing out. If i keep my foot on the gas med pressure then your gonna get med results . If you go WOT your asking off of the turbo which isnt much .
at wot t25 = psssssssssssssssssssssst pooooo very fast

hah dont feel like a fool. I dont come close to knowing everything about DSM's . We all have to start somewhere. Just buy a shop book read up. Also check out the stickys they have TONS of info in there. www.vfaq.com is a godsend but there are also many other links. Good luck man.

Also you could have a boost leak, go over all your Intake clamps and tighten them all down with a ratchet

i am getting very mad..........all week i have been screwing with this thing and still no result called bushurracing and they told me the place the mbc was installed was the wrong place and to install it where the bov is so i did this, went to test drive funny thing i had that damn screw almost to its max reached 12 psi of boost and then tried it again. and only 10 psi i was like what the f*&k? this is getting very annoying. i went through all the hoses that i touched noticed nothing. if it was the wastegate would i even reach 10psi?
