I am going to be running dsmlink, and hopefully at least doing the base tuning myself. I have read 'link can handle any size injectors. I like the idea of being able to run ethanol at the track so I want to get 1600cc injectors. I am just curious how much more difficult it is to tune with such large injectors, compared to like 880's or 950's? Being that I am a newb and don't want to dynotune until I get at least cams, I'm scared that tuning with injectors that big will be too hard by myself. Thanks in advance.

You just have to set up the global deadtime and compensation, and after that point it's just like tuning with smaller injectors. You even get similar low-end drivability for basic street use.

Once you've bought DSMLink, sign onto the forums. They have a bunch of writeups on how to tune, and potential setups. Definitely will want a wideband O2 (logged to DSMLink) if you're going for anything that'll make the kind of power 1600s would necessitate.

Thank you for your advice. I'm still on a 16g, but like I said, ethanol is definately sparking my interest, so that is why I want to go so big on injectors. Eventual goal is running something like a FP3052.

Know the feeling, I've got DSMLink and a set of 850s on the shelf, as I'm never going past a B16G, aside from maybe an E3-16G. Ethanol CAN be awesome, but generally a race gas and methanol/ethanol injection system will yield a better result, unless you're just going for straight line. Don't need the 25% greater flow to handle running straight alky at that point, but still get most of the knock suppression.
