Tuner shop recommendations

So I just had my car oil changed by the shop....yeah I'm being lazy and don't feel like fighting the apartment land lords about changing oil in the parking lot. Anyway they called me up and said I was 40k over due on my timing belt change and quoted me at $480 + $89 for the belt. Can anyone refer me to someplace cheaper to get this done aside from ecology in chula vista.

I would be cautious taking your car to ecology for a timing belt job. I would only let a shop that deals with DSM's on a regular basis work your car. Too bad about the apartment situation because you could easily save yourself a $200-250 by doing it yourself.
