trust = greddy ???

I have a question whether a Trust catback is the same thing as Greddy. I bought a car that the guy said it had a Greddy SP 2 1/2 inch catback on it. Well I polish up the muffler and it says Trust on it. Trust's website looks like it is in Japanese so I cant really find out what type of muffler this is. I wish I could take pics for you, but it does in fact looks like the Greddy SP muffler and tip but it says Trust on it.

One last thing I need figured out. Is the measurement of exhaust size by the inside diameter or outside? Im guessing inside but then this exhaust I was told was a 2 1/2 inch would only be about a 2 1/4. I guess I just got royally screwed? Help!

Trust is just JDM GReddy(My Greddy BOV says trust on it). Yes you measure the exhaust by the inner diameter.

Greddy is a Division of Trust. Trust has a few different performance companies and make alot more than parts. Greddy is also sold in Japan and sells almost as competition to Trust.

Greddy, Trust, Grex are all owned and produced by the same company. they are all very high quality parts. If your muffler says trust on it, then yes you have a high quality exhaust system. Trust/Greddy is my personal choice for parts when it comes to my 2gb dsm. The quality, fit and function is insurpassable if you ask me. I just really like all the parts i have on my car. I like TRUST more though, just because people ask what it is and i get to tell them that i had it shipped over from japan, like my MBC and my oil cap.
