True 560cc injectors? From what?

Hey tuners

So I have had these 560's sitting here for along time, and the other day we finally threw them on the car....After going to the AMS swap meet today and seeing the 'true' evo8 injectors, I've come to the conclusion that mine aren't real ones....

Here's the thing:

--The nozzle that sprays the fuel has 3 outlets instead of the 4 nozzles of the evo8's
--The side of the injector it is written "mdl 560cc"
-- The color is a little darker than the beige type evo8 injectors...

And to top it off, my safc settings are odd too....After all my logs, I still am getting knock at WOT at my 6000rpm setting, despite it being now at -4% only...

Weirdest, at 19psi and 6000rpm it tells me Im getting 92% duty cycle....On 560cc's?

BTW: I do have an old fuel filter and a boost leak, but would it really make me run that lean where I almost have to Zero it out to avoid knock and end up getting 90% DC on big injectors?

Any ideas of what injectors these are?

you pretty much just answered your own questions. tuning has to be done when ALL aspects of the motor are operating as they should.
replace that fuel filter, fix ALL leaks. then you will be able to get a more accurate tune.
 
The fuel filter would cause a lean condition if it is plugged. A boost leak will cause a rich condition while you have boost, because under boost some of that air is leaking out. But the ecu is still added fuel for the air that leaked out. While driving and not boosting it will lean out the motor because it can suck extra air in though that leak.
 
Well, I will tell you for sure that my WOT full boost runs are lean, b/c Im richening the F*K out of the SAFC (-5% right now) and its still getting knock....I am getting super high INJD...

ALso, I heard most 560 owners have idle settings at like -22...Well, at -15 or so, I am still super Lean at like 137% for low fuel trim....So even tho I have a boost leak, these injectors make me wonder.....
 
at -4% you could be getting rich knock...i suggest changing that fuel filter, do a boost leak test, check that knock sensor and start tuning from scratch...
 
Not Rich knock....Knock started when I had high throttle at -10% and I kept richening it up from there

--What kind of fuel filter or does it not matter?
--My fuel trims arent moving either? The o2 fuel trim moves after new settings, but the fuel doesnt actually move...I moved the Idle 1000rpm setting to -10% and the o2 fuel trim sits happy in the 100% area but damn does it smell rich

Im gonna be working on those 2 things this past week and weekend...Something clearly is not right tho
