Im searching for your Experienced opinions.....
My car hasnt been running too well lately, and I have also been noticing my coolant levels have been sneaking out on me.
Here is the info
Compression test reveals:
#1 Cylinder: 170 psi
#2 Cylinder: 150 psi
#3 Cylinder: 140 psi
#4 Cylinder: 180 psi
Leakdown test reveals:
#1 Cylinder: Slight leak from Intake mani
#2 Cylinder: Mostly from valve cover (removed oil cap)
#3 Cylinder: Stong leak from Intake mani & Cylinder #4
#4 Cylinder: Slight leak from Intake mani and Cylinder #3 (When "leak" in said, It is not a gasket leak....Air was rushing threw intake track)
No coolant mixed with the oil
No oil mixed with the coolant
No boubling from coolant with leakdown test
No overheating since t-stat replacement 3 weeks ago...
Im thinking bad HG and burnt/or damaged Intake valves, But dont know where my coolant is going unless its going directly into the cylinders and being burnt but no smoke, But I have noticed a coolant smell while the car is idleing, not while driving.
Are your ideas the same as mine? Whats your input? I was planning on doing a head soon anyway, just may come sooner then expected.....
