trouble shooting power locks

My power locks keep draining my battery when they are plugged in. i removed the fuse and unlocked the doors and as soon as i plug the fuse back it it locks the doors and keeps trying to lock them.. where should i start?

Is the button set in the panel correctly? If the switch is offset, it may be hung up under the panel, keeping it pressed to lock.

You can also check those stupid little plugs inside the doors that attach to the back of the lock cylinders. See if one came off and/or is stuck at the "lock" position.

It definitely sounds like a wiring issue. I'm guessing its a short somewhere. If you have a DVOM to test voltage drop and resistance it would be just a matter of unpluging the motor and power lock buttons and checking. In my opinion I think its a short.

i have both door panels off so its not hung up on anything, ill check the plugs next . thx for the replies so far
