Sean, I know I've been out of the game and MIA for a long while, but I am hoping to get my new engine within the next few months. I'll update you when I get the stuff so I can make it out to the meets. And I work at Honda of Tysons Corner, so if you need parts for the SI.

The people in this area are just not dedicated enough to have a meet.

The last two meets I had only 1 person showed at each event. I arranged for a speed and custom shop to sponsor us and nothing; no one shows.

I'm not wasting my energy on a "club" or "team" anymore. For now on, if people want to chill then we'll chill, but not as a club, just friends that happen to like the same car.

And FYI, you are still letting the car drag you under. You seriously need to let it go. Not trying to being mean, just trying to be a friend.

I know that you are not tryin to be mean, but for some of us here our car is our only means of transportation. For me I know that if I try to sell my car I could only get maybe 800 out of if. With that bein said I am down for meetin up once my clutch and trans is fixed(to chill or cruise the beltway).

Personally, in my opinion, your not dedicated enough to create a meet. Not that I'm saying I am or anything. If I was setting up a meet, I'd have everyones phone number and email.

I'd have a texting mailing list and an email mailing list. One week before you send a bulk text/email to all members reminding them of the event. Another one gets sent out the day before the event as a final reminder. If all else fails I'd even call them. Hell, maybe I am dedicated enough. I'd help with it. Though, I will NOT go to any strip clubs .

It's just an excuse and nothing more. The people that want to come are going to come and show up and the ones that don't want to won't come all on their own. And on the strip club topic... Vixens is pretty awesome. Those girls are freaks. Shower room = worth every penny

I guess that IS true. I get spiteful when people make generalizations that include me I don't feel are true.

I wanted to be there though no matter what you say.

I apologize for saying he wasn't dedicated enough. I'm still down to meet and I still think that a mailing list would help outcome. I'm willing to put in some effort here if we give it another shot.

*shrug* Am I christian? As far as I'm concerned seeing a woman/lady in the nude or seeing her fully clothed isn't much different. If she's hot I'd think about boneing her and if she isn't that attractive I don't.

ok I don't know how we got on the topic of people going to the strip club. I stated that I needed justification for going out there. I didn't say anyone had to come or that i was inviting people to come or that a meet should take place at one. It was a simple question directed to one person (thanks HighPSI for the confirmatiom though). Now that we're straight on what that strip clubs and religion lets get back to what this thread was created about.
