very true, but i don't see why I would need to spend 900 on a 24x12x3 that im going to have to modify the hell out of to get it to work and then just only be shooting for 300-50whp.......

it sould work for the goals your looking for. it will not fill the whole mouth in the front bumber but it will do the job. id say go for it then let us know if it works.

you get what you pay for.

This is turning into an over-used cliché around here. Sometimes you pay for it but you don't get it. Sometimes you pay less and get more. Sometimes you pay more and get less. Paying more does not insure a better value.

my98GST, the vendor has a strong feedback rating, thousands of sales and a warrantee. $210 for an intercooler with plumbing sounds like a bargain.

wret well put.

their piping.....our piping (Extra Thick) They could have came up with a better selling point to convince people to go with their pipe. But hey for that price I would say try it, if it sucks your only down $150

Hell Id buy it. Im looking for a cheap fmic right now and Id happily buy ebay. But of course everything made is for 2gs : /

mostly all i've seen good kits for these days that are fairly cheap are for 1g's :( Right now it's looking like im going to buy it. Just wish it showed what the bov flange looked like and/or gave some options on the bov flange.

that looks like a Yonaka intercooler core (only the core) by looking at the end tanks. they are a newer company out of canada i believe. its a good core. im not sure what the real rating is on that particular size but it varies drastically between cores. for instance a 26x12x3 supports 600hp while a 26x12x4 supports 1000hp. so id becareful cuz that is an awfully small core. the 27inches that this vendor is quoting includes end tanks so u lose a few inches right there. u could always buy the kit and upgrade just the core later if need be.

very true, it appears to be roughly a 19-20" core... It does supply clamps though right? Whats the main differnece between those clamps and t-bolt clamps?

The core does appear pretty small though. Only 5" height? And also, I wonder if they include enough of that piping to fit on a dsm and make the setup complete.

it looks like it comes with quite a bit of piping, I just got a pretty nice little offer on a bigger fmic with piping.. Too bad i don't have htat kind of money right now :(

If you tightened the regular clamps even a little by using a socket, it will snap so you can't really tightned it enough. This translates to pipes popping off because there isn't enough torque to hold them. However, if you run like 12 psi, thats not a problem then. The T-clamps you can really tighten, I have T-clamps strong enough to actually start crushing the pipe a little, but you don't want to tighten that much of course, thats just an example of the strength. You can hold probably 60 psi of boost (If you ever see that in your life-time) without popping off the pipe, keep in mind the pipes need to be beaded though which helps a lot.

I read in an article that not all parts off of ebay are actually the from the Manufactuer so that intercooler might not be from Greddy as it is labeled.
