transmission fluid

ive heard so many different answers to this its horrible. and ive never had to deal with it so im a bit confused. for a 92 talon tsi manual, what do i use?? ive heard brake fluid, ATF, 10w30oil. and a few others. any feedback from anyone would be great. thanx.

So people told you to put those in your tranny????
Use BG syncroshift, it's the best tranny oil for our cars.

BG Synchromesh I got 3 quartsd on Ebay for $23 shipped and I only used 2. Whatta DEAL!

Stick with BG. Someone e-mailed Pennzoil asking if Synchromesh meets GL-4 standards and they said no, it doesn't. Only use GL-4 in our trannies because it's not corrosive to brass synchros.
