ok so i have the symptoms of a leaking from the transfercase (the yoke) and i cant afford to leave my car at the dealership for the recall. I see the Transfer Case Recall Kits on machv for 1g's and i was wondering if i can use the same kit on my 2g? If not where else can i find a Transfer Case Recall Kit for a 2g.

and another thing i noticed was there is alot of back and forth play with the driveshaft. Is that normal? what could be the problem?

Thanks for the reply. Iv've checked out the vfaq on the yoke fix but im confused on where to apply the jb weld. http://www.dsmtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133657&highlight=transfercase+leak+fix is a link to 3 methods to fixing the leak, but really i think im confused on where the brass plug or whatever is located. Is at the bottom inside of the shaft inside where the splines are that connect to the TC? Do i fill it up with jb weld there then just plug it in the TC?

i emailed jnztuning and they said the recall kit goes for all awd years so im set. hopefully it will stop the leaks.. Thanks
