Transfer case QUESTIONS!!

I bought a new trans that I believe is 22 spline, my transfer case is 23 spline. If I buy a 22 spline transfer case will the driveshaft still fit? I need to know.
Anyone know which years have what spline? what year has 22 spline and where can I find one for sale or trade mine for one?

k, The only thing that has been changed in number of splines, is the output shft for the X-case thats on the transmission. ur drive shaft can fit any x-case.

ALOT of tranny shops, unless they have worked with DSM's will tell you, that the Drive shaft, Rear ends and shit wont work togther unless you get the exact same year transmission, WRONG. Ive gone thru this with tranny shops.


Also, Rear end gearing, and 5th gearing is the same thru the years. So if a tranny shop tells you no, take ur car somewere else.
