Transfer Case Question...Please advise

I have a 92 GSX 6/4 car. When I bought the car, the transfer case had been damaged. The car came with another transfer case but was not installed. I decided to go ahead and replace the lube in the transfer case. I stood it up on end, with the drain plug up. Poured some Redline 75W90 in it and it came out the other end. This is my first DSM and I need to know if that is normal. Doesn't sound normal to me, but that is why I am in the noobee forum. Thanks in advance for your time and knowledge

If you added fluid to the fill hole and it came out the end where the driveshaft / propeller shaft goes, then this is normal, because you are not sealing that end with the driveshaft.

When you install the t-case and connect the driveshaft, that will seal the end. The yoke of the driveshaft and the seal on the t-case stops the fluid from coming out.
