Just bought a 97 AWD TSi. Don't know when the last time they changed the oil and tramission fluid. Going to take care of that.
My question is, how do you add or change the Transfer Case and Rear Diff oil or lube what ever it maybe. I ready got the Lube/Oil from Road Race Engineering. Just needed some directions on where its located and how going about changing all that.
Thanks

For both of them there will be a drain plug on the bottom. If you have already done the transaxle the plug is around the same size. Then a little further up is the filler plug, again around the same size. Make sure that the car is level and fill both of them till they reach the filler hole. I believe it is 1.1 pints for the transfer case, and around 1 for the rear diff.
