transdude Q: Torque Conv. & Fluid Pump

I was going to send as a PM but I figured it would take longer. My tranny sh*tted out as we discussed under the "Tranny Slipping" thread. Anyway I had it taken apart because he said it could be rebuilt, well the bearing on the torque converter slipped back against the converter itself, chewing up the fluid pump and the post of the converter where the bearing goes. Now the shop says they can't find these parts and are trying to sell me a reman tranny for some outragous price. I was wondering if by any chance would have these parts or know where I could get them? If not, do you got a good source for a reman tranny? Thanks.
