trans code 48. Need input on how to troubleshoot?

laser guy site says this code= Short-circuited torque converter clutch solenoid. Where is this solenoid? If it is one of the 4 attached to vavue body? If so, which is it? Is it the one off by itself? How can I test it? The trans works fine other than skipping 2nd gear. (THis started after the Trans Lab shift kit install last weekend) It is not like the TC is not working so I am curious what the fiction of the TC solenoid is? Is it for TC lockup?

What is the year, make, model? TCC solenoid is for tourqe convertor lockup, usually about 40 mph ish.
