tranny,TC and rear diff oils

hey guys...im wanting to get new fluids for my tranny, transfer case and rear diff..just bought the car and i am wondering where can i find information on the exact amount of fluid i need to put in each drivetrain parts. i am allready decided on what fluids to put in there thanks to other threads on here....now i need to know how much do i need to put in there.....thanks

Do you have a manual transmission? The automatic transmission fluid is different. The transfer case and rear diff use the same fluid no matter what type of transmission.

Manual Transmission:

Transmission: 2.4 quarts
Transfer Case: 0.5 quarts
Rear Diff: 0.9 quarts

Automatic transmission

Transmission: Up to 8 quarts of auto tranny fluid after draining the pan and differential.

what type of fluids should you be using?? i just bought my first AWD and i will be changing all drivetrain fluids from front to back next weekend.

also do these differentials use a gasket or are they rtv sealant?

i used mt-90 for my manual trans, heavyweight shockproof for my t case, and napa gear oil + a lsd additive for the rear end
