tranny problem. help!!

alright so i own a 95 gsx and second gear is pretty messed up. at low speeds it wont go in even completely stopped, sometimes it does but as soo as i let off the clutch it kicks out, but if i shift into 2nd from first above 4500 it goes in perfect with no grinds.... it wont down shift either unless i rev match which makes me think synchros but the synchros were shot on my 1g i had before this and it would shift fine into second from a stop or at lower speeds and it was at higher speeds or when i was flooring it that it would grind (but still go into gear) i checked my linkage and its fine.

so with that little information he gave you, you were able to tell that his syncro's are going bad?

what else do you need to know about it?

Sounds like shift linkage, check the easiest stuff first... shift cables, bushings and external linkage, failing that it could be internal like the fork...
