My TPS on my 91 Tsi AWD has recently been acting up and I have purchased a replacement part. I have read numerous accounts of how to set the TPS with a logger/etc., however, there has been mention of simply marking the old TPS before removing it and then simply bolting up the replacement and not having to worry about adjustment. I was unable to find anything that would clarify what to mark specifically, and was wondering if anyone could clarify this for me. Thanks in advance.

Here's the thing: I don't have access to a logger or a SAFC, and I dont have a multimeter. I was kinda hoping there was a way to do it without any of that stuff.
