I just installed my SAFC last weekend and i switched so i could monitor my Throttle Position, and it always displays 100%. I can turn the engine off and only have the key in ACC mode and it still displays 100%. So i hooked up my multimeter and the results were; 1 & 3- 213 ohms & 2 & 4- 5.5k Ohms.
Is that a bad TPS?

I checked all the wires again and they are correct, the car does run so obviously the ECU isn't reading 100%. I called a local shop that has been known for their experience with SAFC's and asked them if they have seem something like it, he said that you have to get the SAFC to learn the throttle angle, so i tried doing it in the steps i found on the internet which only were, turn the ignition on and hold the throttle down while the SAFC is showing the tps %, and it will eventually start counting up to 100. But i held it for awhile and nothing happened. Did i do this wrong?

Change the position of the arrow in the settings for the tps. Up is for the tps reading 0 to 5 volts and down is the opposite.

Yea forgot u have to let go of the pedal after u got it to 100%.

Check for continuity between terminal 3 & 4 with throttle closed, if u don't have continuity your tps is bad.

It never came off of '0' I switched the direction of the arrow due to fit my reading and it never came off zero idk if theres a way to reset it besides the initialize selection or what.

what should the reading be between 3 & 4?

On your multimeter there should be a symbol that allows it to check continuity, when u touch the two probes together it you should hear the multimeter beep, that's your indication for continuity. So when u check terminals 3&4 you should hear the beep indicating continuity.

i also switched the multimeter to Ohms and it showed 216 ohms(connected to 3&4) i would rotate it both ways and no change, is it suppose to change?

Could a blown sensor ground still be a cause even if the car runs and if im getting these readings while the tps being unplugged?

i checked the ecu and it looks fine all around the sensor ground.

This is the reading of the sensor check with the engine off and ignition in 'ON' position. It does not change with foot on or off gas pedal.
