Can one of you DSM gurus label what goes through each of the holes in the top of the block? For example: head bolt, water passage, oil passage. Thanks!

The bolts should be easy to figure out, just look for threads. Can i ask why you want to know which passages are what?

I know where the bolts go, but I figured someone, somewhere might not. This could help them in the future is they search for it.

My reason for wondering which fluids go through which passages is to try and explain an oil leak that I've got.

Thanks.

There's only one hole that carries oil through it. It's the small hole to the right of the head bolt hole in the lower left corner of the block. In your picture the oil passage has an oval ring around it which surrounds the bolt hole and the oil hole. HTH

Thanks! Thats exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you again :)

Whoops! I forgot about the oil drain holes! Oil drains from the head down to the block at 4 locations. All the drain holes are big. There is one on the exhaust side between cyl 2+3, it's a big round hole surrounded by an oval. Theres a double hole on the intake side between cyl 2+3 just outside of the bolt hole. Two more on the intake side at the outer edges of cyl 1 and 4.

Exactly, if you look at your head, you will see the holes that return oil.
