These things really slammed my 95 gsx. I installed prothane bushings in the rear, but only the shock bushings in the front suspension. I was really surprised how low they made the car. The ride is pretty harsh as well, especially in the front. My question is does anyone have this setup installed? Just curious as to how much they lowered the vehicle. Also, any suggestions on improving the ride quality? Maybe try the stock springs instead? The good thing is they have a lifetime warranty, so maybe i can pay the difference for some illuminas when these blow out, which probably will be sooner than later.

Are you sure you did the install right? This kit is not known for the "slammed" look, although that varies by opinion, I guess. If you want higher, the stock springs and HP shocks definitely are a workable combo. Also, I don't think Tokico's lifetime warranty works like that...

i agree 100%

are you sure you put the rear springs onthe rear and the front on the front, if you put the rear springs on the front you will drop more due to the extra weight from the engine.

I dunno, i will try the stockers next weekend to see if they help any. Thanks.....

If you bought the shock and spring in a combo package, I was mistaken about the height. When I looked into it, it seems that their Illumina kit springs lower 1.2"-1.5" which is very reasonable. However, the HP kit springs are different, and lower 1.75"-2" which is pretty low.

I assumed that their springs in both kits would be the same. Anyway, if you want to get away from being that low, you can still use your stock springs and still retain the improvement of the HP shocks.
