TOB noise and a few problem

I recently built the block with je piston,eagle rods, rings, bearings, head gasket, stock head with 272's, ect...I also install new tranny from jack transmission with welded center differential. ACT 2600, street disk and oem tob.

When clutch is release all the way out, there's noise sound like scraping coming from inside the bell housing at the transmission. I know it's got to have something with the throw out bearing, (OEM tob). Clutch fork is more to the driver side but not much. I was wondering if the tob is rubbing against the pressure plate too much? b/c while the engine is on, looking inside the bell housing, the pressure plate move almost like shaking. I did shim the pivot ball.

With the new tranny, the car doesnt roll backward while on neutral on a slanted drive way. It seems like it's locking the differential so it doesn't roll backward. Is that normal?

Last but not least, car jerks and clink sound from under the firewall while in gear rolling without stepping on the gas pedal, and when I'm on the gas pedal driving normal, check engine light will come on, but as soon as I let go of gas pedal, then it goes away while still in gear.

Please any input will be great.

Is it possible that scraping sound is the sound of your fork hitting the pressure plate when the clutch isn't engaged, since you have the pivot shimmed?

I didn't think of that, I'll check that out asap. It does seems like something is rubbing against the pressure plate. TOB sits very close to the pressure plate teeth almost right next to it while the PP is spinning.

I might try taking the pivot ball shim out and see if the tob will stay futher away from pp. Think that might be the problem?

So that mean, the tranny has to come out a little so I can get to it.

I think that it may be your issue, but I can't say for sure since I can't see your car.

I would jack it up and shine a light in the hole the fork goes through and see if the fork is contacting the plate.

And the TOB will always be touching the pressure plate finger things. If that is what you meant by teeth.

Scary thought. But possible, it would make a very god awful noise from the transmission, the fork is thin on the end so it would not take much rubbing to grenade all inside the bell housing.

Sorry, nothing yet, I did have a loose tranny bolt in the back of tranny, but after tighting that bolt down, helps a little but not all. Will still check into it when I have time.
