So im wondering... What kind of damage to the diff can be done with bad tires? I have bad tires on front, definately ALOT of vibration, a little clunking sound (nothing major)and a pinch of no traction... Been this way about 500-600 miles... I dont need anyone to tell me to change them I know this already.. And thank you all...

I think the damage comes when you have a new tire and a bald tire because the diameter of the tires are not the same ie rotation of wheels are not the same, making the diff angry. Are your tires waring evenly?

But the thing is he has bad tires on the front. I know on my jeep if I have bad tires on the front and good ones in the rear it will damage the transfer case. So I think (again think) he is wondering if there will be any damage because it has good tires in the rear but bad up front.

Other than that craziloki I really don't know if it will damage the diff much.

Item resolved..

JDM Trans= 4.1 final drive ratio
USDM= 4.9

Blew through center diff fusing it to output gear and output shaft.= Learning my lesson:cry:

Research pays off.. Just because it says "direct fit" only means it will fit. Nothing more.. I only hope now that my rear wasn't damaged..

An oh yeah,.. The tires help the vibration as well.:thumb:

Be sure to get that aligned every time you change tires/rims/suspension. Be sure to get the wheels balanced as well.
