Tire Size 225/50-17 Will this work?

I got a set of free snow tires from my buddy that is 225/50-17. Looking to install it on my stock GSX Rims which i believe are 17x6.5? Will there be any clearance issues? I don't mind throw on spacers but just worried about the front and turning having the tire rub. Oh and car is stock height.

why would it rub? only reason it rubs its when tires are too wide.. 225 is not wide 50 is a bit tall thats what I use on 16s for drags or 55.. but you should be fine just cant drop it too much..

I was just worried about the tire rubbing the knuckle since it was taller. Plus these are snow tires, so I'm not looking to drop the car haha.

it will fit... 225 isnt that wide ...evo rims are 235 and that works good..

and 50 is not too tall... 98 gsx rims have 50 sidewalls...
