I have two differfent sets of tires. 250's on the front and 255's on the back. Will this improve my launch for the track??

Maybe. It depends on the behavior of the center diff. As it moves toward lock, you have introduced a torque bias to the rear, which is good, because that is where the weight is shifting. But when the center diff locks completely, you are forcing the front and rear tires to have different slip rates, so one end or both ends will probably be outside the optimum range.

In general, one doesn't run different-sized tires on AWD cars. Torque bias is better controlled using a fancy center diff.
