Hey everyone. I've got some Nexen 3000 205/40ZR17 tires and I was wondering what psi I should be running on for a daily driver. It's max load pressure is 50 psi. From the other posts I've read, they said to run ~5psi below the max. Is 45psi still ok or what do you all think? Is anyone in particular using these tires and what do you use? Thanks in advance.

i run 35psi all the way around...also why do you have 205/40 those are WAY too small of a tire for a DSM, your car is not a honda civic. You should ditch them at get a 225/45/17:dsm:

Oh, I agree. However, the tires and rims came together and I didn't know until after I got them. The rim won't allow for a wider tire, but I will try to get 225's next go around. Thanks for the help.

You should run 35 or 36 psi in them. I used to sell the Nexen N3000 tires and they are a pretty good tire. Your rim even if it is a 7.5" wide will still take a 225 tire. Good luck.

sounds like you got it from Wheelnext.com? You probably have 17x7, even though they are narrow you can still fit a 225/45/17.

Oh, well I'll definitely look into the 225/45's then. Thanks.
