Okay guys, so I finally got my transmission done and rebuilt. This has been the third time that I've had my transmission off (once for clutch, once for throw out bearing), and both of those times my transmission went back on with no issues. This time, however, has been a pain in the rear end. I've tried getting it back on for 5 hours, and still no luck. Do you all have any tips, tricks, or pointers to help me line the transmission up to the block properly? I think I am having trouble lining up the shaft that goes into the clutch area. Any advice helps, thanks!

make sure the disk is centered. I use a cherry picker and raise the trans from the top from a single point. That way you can tilt, and maneuver easily.

Get a good jack and a block of wood to keep it flat.
