I just put a timming light on my 90 tsi and I'm reading 28 degrees timming. Why? and if I adj the cas would that f me all up

Im also willing to bet that you did not ground out the timing plug.


I couldn't help but think of this while reading the thread title: TIMMY!!

How does your car run with +28 deg of base timing (rough or normal)? And yes, you do adjust the cas to change the timing back to +5, that wont f you up.

none taken, although now you can call me timmy I was reading the timming by the cam gears instead of the crank pulley.
