I have a 1990 GSX.

My buddy and I just put a timing belt, auto tensioner, and balance shaft belt on.

We marked the pulleys and everything and just before putting it back together the crank moved a bit. So we just moved it back to its mark, i dont think we got it exact (the cam marks looks good though). Well the car idles rough and under VERY light throttle it surges a bit. I moved the cam angle sensor to see if it made a diffrence. It does but not enough. I have a boost gauge in the car and before at idle is would read 20-22 HG IN ( i think thats what it says on the gauge) Now its 12-14. It runs great other than the surging under light load. Does it sound like the belt could be a whole tooth off? Do i need to take it all apart again? Or is there some trick to moving the belt or something?

Did you read the VFAQ and follow it?
You'll need to remove the timing covers and check the timing marks for the crank, oil pump/lower balance shaft, cams, and upper balance shaft and if they are off remove the belt to correct them.
