Ok so my automatic started acting up a few days ago, I won't bother typing it up again because I already made a thread on that here. After that it got progressively worse, and ended up completely not going into any gear( in the middle of the road), resulting in a tow to the shop... then we start it there and it decides to work fine
So we dropped the pan and the filter was horribly clogged, we cleaned it and it seems to be actually going into gear now but I still plan on just swapping to a 5 speed because the auto is bound to completely die real soon. Could anyone give me
So I have a few questions about doing the swap:
1.If we have a 1g n/a how many parts could we use off that for the swap?
2. Can you use a 1g tranny on a 7 bolt?
3. Do I need a new ecu?
4. Where could I get a good deal on a fwd 5 speed?
I searched but couldn't find anything good on the FWD a/t to 5 speed swap so if anyone has some helpful links/part lists that would be great
