Well my G4CS has gone through the paces for 8/9 years on the same standard off the shelf Wiseco pistons, and eagle rods. It handled about 15-20 passes on the auto with the nitrous kit to get it to spool, and it lost all compression in cylinder 3. The motor was never setup for what I was doing with it so 8 years is good LOL.

After some decisions, Im almost 100% sure I am staying with the G4CS platform. I have 4 G4CS blocks sitting around now LOL. I was going to maybe go long rod 2.4 or maybe back to 2.0, but amazingly enough the bearings that came out of the motor were perfect. 8800 rpms popping off the limiter in the 5spd through 3rd 35-36 psi straight 93 pump gas, nitrous etc.

I am going with the MAPerformance Ultimate Duty Howard Billet I beams with Custom 9.0:1 Wiseco HD pistons. I figure might as well spend the money and make it how I want it. I wanna make sure this thing will survive at 9k, and I will be shooting for 9s on pump gas like I set out to do with the 5spd but transmissions didnt keep up.

The auto is great, looking for billet converters is nearly impossible. So if I cant find one before it goes back together or possibly get one made I am putting my Pats restalled converter back in which worked flawlessly. Most likely going to go to the Percision 6765 JB, But ill see if someone picks up the GT4294 JB.

Ill get up some pictures soon, but here is some of how the car sat after I did my swap into the auto car and a couple runs including the run that took out the motor. And some of a Galant VR4 I built for a good friend of mine.

These are closed courses.

Felpro composite for 4 years. Went 10.95 @134 on 93 pump gt4294 and a felpro with a non o ringed head. Finally started to seep into cylinder on after 50 plus passes and got the head o ringed with another composite which held to the end.

Remember boost pressure is different then cylinder pressure. My total timing I run is 13-14 degrees up top plus 2.3 and 2.4 have less piston dwell time which helps in the area of detonation

The motor was never setup for n20 rings where butting together because he piston to wall clearence and ring gaps where on the small side. I am pretty sure it might have leaned out one night 3 weeks earlier on a pass my nitrious fuel fitting broke don't know if it broke in the pass or cost down but lost a 1/2 tank in 1 minutes. Guess that's how fast 2 walbros will pump it out LOL.

Well no updates. Seems that getting custom pistons made, and the Map performance Ultimate duty rods are located on Jupiter!
