will a 94 talon n/t 2.0 throttle body work on my 92 talon tsi?

It is the same motor, so I don't see why not. I don't know what the bore difference is though. I would think the N/T throttle body is a few millimeters smaller than a turbo one.

You will have to make an adapter or a custom upper intercooler pipe because the n/t tb has a flange casted into that the intake hose slips over. The turbo tb is machined flat with an elbow that bolts to it. Other than that, I have read many times they are the same size on 1gs.

Edit: forgot to mention that the n/t tb is also one vacuum port short.

i may be wrong about the specific sizes but i believe the non-turbo throtle body is actually larger. i will do some checking and get back to you, i am running a 92+ non-turbo on my 99 w/6 bolt swap

they are aparently the same size, how ever the nt have weaker seals

1G turbo TB is 60mm.....1G N/T TB is 62mm

The 1g N/T 2.0 uses the SAME SIZE throttle plate as the 1g Turbo throttle body.

It has a wider inlet, but it TAPERS down.

So, in effect, they are the same size.

I should know, I've rebuilt plenty of each for people.

isnt this kinda better in a way adding more air into it because of the taper.
