so wish i could go to this, but i don't have any money and my shifter is being a biXXX and needs to be adjusted. LOL will for sure make next years, with some mods done too.

I cant wait! Going to rip the shit out of my car in B1 class!:hellyeah: Who's joining me in B1?

No one has sponsored the DSE class? Damn. There's got to be a vendor that wants to sponsor :D.

I have a couple questions, can you run in B2 without a front bumper? I am thinking thats teh only way i will be making clearence, also will someone measure your clearence before they let you pay to enter a bracket, or will they just take your money and say to bad?

This thread blew up. Take a few days away and come back to tons or responses.

Glad to see all of you planning on attending. We're supposed to have GREAT weather. Low 80's and sunny.

Just a few days away and its SHOW TIME! See you all this weekend.

You can measure it yourself... You may not clear the 3" limit? Wow what a drop!

B1 and B2 is, anything goes!!!

This answers the question about ground clearance...

-ALL VEHICLES competing in the drag racing at this event are required to have a MINIMUM of 3" of ground clearance from the front fascia to 12" behind the wheel. From 12" behind the wheel to the rear of the car can be as low as 2". This rule will be strictly enforced. Anyone found to be lower than that will be disqualified with no refund

Truly.... a great event! Bottom line. GREAT turnout.

A lot of hardwork goes into the event every year from people in the Wakeman community to all of us here at the shop to try to make it run as smoothly as possible. Then on Sunday the Summit Racing Motorsports Park crew is the best in the business. No doubt about it. A big thanks goes to the Bader Family and the entire group of quality professional track officials they bust their butt to make our event a success.

The shootout is more fun every year for me honestly because from the day after it ends I talk to more new people via PM, phone or email and when the event comes around next year I get the chance to put faces with the names.

As always it was great to see and spend time with my friends I see once maybe twice a year. Caleb Fetter, Chad Block, Curt Brown, Yusuf Begic, Mike Reichen, Dave Bruzewski, Mike from AWD and his crew, Big Al, Emery & Shawna from STM and their crew, Leon Reitman, Bruce Kwartler, Darryl Hudson just to name a few. Its always a great time to see old friends and meet new.

My highlight of the shootout weekend was seeing my good friend and customer Matt Smith from Winston-Salem North Carolina click off his first 9 second pass personally in his Evo that he's been trying to get for awhile now. Matt is one of the most stand up guys I have ever met in life or racing. Always a good attitude, always willing to help someone out with no questions asked and is a good sportsman & fellow racer. He's had some bad luck in the past and he never once gave up. Congrats Matt!

Im also very glad that big Keith was Ok. I spend some time every year talking to Keith after meeting him a few years ago here. One of the nicest guys you could spend time talking to. He got here late on Saturday afternoon and told me that he had some bad luck on the way here but as he told me "By the grace of god I'm here man and I couldnt be happier. Now I want to shower, eat and take it all in!". Im glad god was looking down on him yesterday afternoon as well. Cars can be replaced. Guys like Keith can not.

From all of us here at Buschur Racing thank you for your support of Buschur Racing and THE Largest Mitsubishi event/race on the planet! You all make the event what it was and what it will be! Thank you!

See you all next year!

I'm glad keith is fine. I couldn't make it to the shootout, and he offered to give me a ride too.
