The difference between a t3 or t4 flanged exhaust manifold and a dsm flanged?

Is there any difference between a t3/t4 flanged exhaust manifold and a dsm flanged manifold? Like DNP for example, they offer an equal length ss manifold with both flanges for the same price, is there any difference besides the flange? Only reason I ask is because I plan on running an HE351VE VGT it has a unique flange and I already bought a flange that just needs to be welded onto a manifold. I was thinking that the T4/T3 would be capable of flowing a little more and maybe supporting the heavier turbo, but i was thinking that the dsm flanged one may give me better turbo positioning.

Get the term "t3/t4" out of your head when you are discussing turbine housings. They are SIMPLY T3, or T4, and variations of the two (divided / nondivided).

There are different sizes of each also, based on A/R ratios.

Mitsu has different volute sizes (6cm 7cm 9cm etc)

T3 has different A/R's, and also divided (.64 .82)

T4 has different A/R's, and also divided (.94 1.02 etc)

It just depends on your goals.
 
I think he wanted to know if there were differences other than the flange itself. He said he has a flange that will mate to the HE351VE VGT and wants to cut off the flange that comes on the manifold and then weld on the other one. Basically, he wants to know if he would be better off buying the T3 flanged manifold or the DSM flanged one (or some other flange).

Honestly, the manifold mounted wastegate pieces look the same to me. They would probably even make one specifically with the flange you have if you wanted them to. Call them up and see if you could just send them the flange and get them to set it up.
 
300dollargsx is correct. That is exactly what I was wanting to know. I was thinking about emailing maybe maperformance and seeing what they could do , or contact dnp or punishment racing. I just didn't know if the dsm flanged manifold was capable of handling a 50 lbs turbo compared to the t3 or t4 flanged manifold. Also boosted98gsx thank you for the correction I was using the t3/t4 as a short hand way of saying t3 or t4 manifold that and I always thoguht there was T3/T4 turbo, but thank you for setting me straight.
 
There is a T3/T4 Hybrid turbo, Used mainly by the the Ford Turbo guys, Mustang SVO, Merkur RX4Ti, and Thunderbird Turbo Coupes(83-86), All cam factory equiped with the Garret T3.
The "common" Hybrid has the T3 turbine, .63 ar with the T4 Compressor with the .50 AR Housing or snail.
