The car is driving me nuts!!

Hi, i've looked all over the forums for an answer. Heck i feel like i've searched the entire internet but to no success. Well i just put a new tranny in my GST the other day. No problems there. So i take it for the first ride and when im reversing out of the garage all of a sudden i hit a brick wall(not literally). It just stops going backwards like something is get caught up in the wheels. Axles, transmission maybe? I looked under and see nothing out of the ordinary. So i thought maybe i can push it out with the car in neutral....nope! It gets stuck in the same spot. I have no idea whats goin on with this thing. I feel like i put all these hours into this car and its always somethin. It just drives me nuts. Any help would awesome guys. Thanks

Possibly stuck brakes? I had this problem once because I wore my brakes down to the metal :-(

Have you checked the linkage to the tranny or to the shifter? Sometimes those can pop off, or the cable can break.

I would begin by jacking the car up and narrow it down to the fronts or rears getting stuck.

If its the front, I would check the axles and trans obviously since it happened after you had the trans out.

Thanks for the advice you guys. I checked the shift linkage and everything seems to be alright. I feel like it has to do with the axles but im not seein exactly what the problem is. I have off tomorrow so ill get some pics and dig into it a little more. Thanks for the help guys.
