Thanks DSM Tuners

So i am rebuilding a 1992 1.8 with 200,000 miles on it .
when i put the silence balace shaft in i noticed i had about 1/2 inch of end play
knowing something wasnt right i started searching DSM Tuners
and there it was post #23 by Bryan Wheat ,showing a part # 03688, a sleeve that goes on the balane shaft , Somehow i had lost tthat part, called the dealer and they shipped the part to my front door , $18.78
tapped it in with a socket and the end play is gone .
that was a close one , all i can say is Thanks to DSM Tuners and Bryan Wheat
for taking the time to post that pic
i will keep you post on the rebuild

Guy certainly knows his stuff. Hes very helpful. Im glad that you got your car sorted out too.
Btw, my first car was a 93 eclipse with the 1.8.... many fond memories in that car(by that, i mean a ton of drunken sex in the front seat ).

I thrashed that poor car but it taught me alot mechanically. Did my first engine swap. Good times haha

The DSM community has some really helpful guys. Unfortunately, some of them get burned out by all the repetitive questions and they don't spend as much time on the site as they once did, but they still help when they have time.
