Hey guy,
Just wanted to say thanks to 5280Tuning and Jacks Transmissions for a great job. Took the car to the dyno and put down 411.7whp and 437.4wfpt.:hellyeah: With a very solid tune and a great build I was able to put down some really good number for a 16G. If anyone ever needs work done I would check both of this shops out first.:D

Thanks again guys

Nice! I assume that trap speed was on that exact tune they gave you? What does your car weigh?

Maybe I should throw my car on the dyno just for fun. I trapped 114 on a 16G a couple of weeks ago at Bandi, but my car is fairly light for a 2G. I'm gonna go back tonight and see if I can better that a bit......or better yet, lower my ET!

Yes that trap speed is on the same tune. And the car weighs 3490 with driver. I actually drove the car to a 12.5 on the brakes due to bracket racing. We are dieing to gut the car an run it all out. Then at PMI on the 3rd. All are invited by the way! It would be fun to get a few people together and run down there!!!!!:hellyeah:

Cool!

I went 116mph with a race weight of 3185lbs last night.....we are making very similar power!

Don't give up on the 16G so easy! It has been like 8 years since anybody ran an 11 up here on one, and that was a tin canned 1G. Push it for all it's worth!

Correct me if I’m wrong but weren’t you running in the street sport compact heads up class?

test an tune is a time when you can go and just race as many times as you can get in. not having to wait for other classes to finish b4 your class can run. in test and tune, you will sometimes get put up against 8 second cars, and sometimes against 18 second cars. it just depends when you get in the staging area. it pretty much is exactly as the title says. test your vehicle on the track, and tune it to where you think would be faster. did i mention you can try to get as many runs in as possible? so u could race, get right back in line, and repeat that all day. its very fun, and tons of new people to meet.
