what can I expect from this?

not a heavily modded car..

turbo xs RFL bov

K&N filter and some 2.5 catback..

and a few free mods.. I can do it for free I have access to a lift is it worth the 20$$ to do it?

should I see like 10whp?

Get a full 2.5" or 3" exhaust( - cat) and you might see 5-9whp. Just taking out your cat won't do to much. If you planned on upgrading your exhaust in the near future I would just wait till then.

-And are you venting that BOV?:nono:

I'd imagine taking the biggest restriction out of the exhast would give me a little bit more oomph.. I dont have the $$$ for a full 3inch turbo back exhaust.. and dont want to put a 3inch turbo back exhaust on a stock T25

Then go ahead and do it. See if it makes adifference and let us know. (although it maybe be hard to prove weather it made a difference or not) And as far as 3" on a T25, if you planned on ever upgrading your turbo, you'd be glad its there.

Also, bench racing is against the rules.
good call. I kind didn't think of this as bench racing at first, but it probably is.

If you had the money to buy a cat back you should have used it to buy a nice downpipe.

If its only going to cost you 20 dollars, why not do it? You dont really have anything to lose.

what isnt against the rules on this forum?

it was an honest question.. I was just wondering the outcome..

the catback was on the car when I bought it.. all I'd have to pay for is the pipe I got a lift and can weld it on myself.. I'm just wondering what it would do sound and performance wise.. I'd imagine its pretty well clogged up wtih 124k miles on it .. and I heard that turbo applications gain a good amount from any less restriction in the exhaust system and figured itd be a good idea.. sorry if I broke another forum rule yet again.
