I was wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase a 3' test pipe that looks like a Cat. Basically a cat with a 3' pipe running straight through it. I know I have seen them befor, hopefully someone in here can tell me where to pick on up..Thanks :dsm: :thumb:

Why don't you just run piping with some heatshield around it to make it look like a cat?

Funny you should mention that...cuz thats exactly what I ran on my first gen talon. What I did was take the cat off and hollow it out with a black and decker drill with a butterfly bit, then just take a 2.5", 3.0" pipe whatever and put some oil on it and push it through the cat. It won't just slide in, you'll need a hammer and make sure there is some form of lube on it. Then all you do is weld the inlet and outlet so that the pipe doesn't rattle around inside it, and voila! I had a friend do the welding for me. I'm pretty sure that if you took it to a muffler shop they wouldn't do it becuase you're blatantly breaking the emissions law. bah!

exactly cheap and it looks like the real deal. If you live in cali and are doing it for emmsisions purpose if a cop pulls you over if he looks for the cat he will also give you a tail pipe test so either way you would fail.
