Ok so this is another problem with my dsm, still doesn't start unless I push start it but this is separate or might be related, I don't know.

Anyway, I start it, let it warm to operating temperature and then my temperature needle shoots up if I gas it and then returns to normal. If I press anything electrical, it shoots up a little. Put the heater/ac on and it shoots up. Press the highbeams or turn signals and it shoots up and then slowly settles back down. Put it into gear and it shoots up then goes back down. I go to check the coolant hose to see if its hot and its not even that hot.I check the coolant afterwards and its still green and at the same level.

What is going on now? Is my dsm going out? Its been giving me a lot of trouble lately which is why I'm wondering if its the end of its life.

Specs: Stock GS-T spyder 16g turbo (came with car)

Issues right now: No-start unless pushed or jump started
If it doesn't start afterawhile, it gives me the p0335 code for the CPS even though I replaced it already
Temperature
was receiving cyl 3 missfires prior to all this. Haven't received the code yet.

For the starter I'm guessing? How would I go about doing that? I had all my tools stolen recently so all I have is your basic tools and an obdII scanner.

No for the CTS... . No connection and you have infinite resistance or if it grounds out a max temp and the Gauge jumps around as it gets and losses a signal... .

Well could this somehow by some magical means be related to my no-start issue? Also which CTS am I looking at, I searched and it said there is one for the gauge and the actual CTS.

Yes if the car has issues with the CTS to the ECU as well as the gauge unit it would cause a wrong Temp being read at the ECU and In turn adjust the fueling wrong for the Temp it is at. No connection would default to a -40* to around -74* temp being seen.

This is a very common problem. I'd do a good once over of all your under hood connections to rule out your issues... .

I attached a screen shot of the Amount of fueling difference at differant temps to give you an Idea of how much affect the Coolant temp has on things.

I have a question about the table, my needle is shooting upwards displaying that its getting hot. According to the chart, the higher the temperature, the fuel adj. remains constant at 0%. My car is displaying that its getting hot even though it doesn't feel very hot. Shouldn't it still run the same?

No the wrong temp is the Wrong Temp flat out... .

Anymore help? Which temp sensor to check? The actual one or the one that is hooked up to the gauge?

All of them, If you are having problems like this. It would be a good Idea to do a once over on all you electrical connections under the hood.

Well if you can push start it then maybe your starter relay is out. I'm not sure about yours but on a 420a my relay is behind the cd player. I would look at your gauge cluster take it out and see if any wires are messed up.
