Hands down the best shocks IMO are Koni Yellows. Tokico Illuminas are great and are 5 way adjustable. Other than that I can't speak from experience.

im running koni yellows with H&R sport springs and the ride is great. i have the koni's set to around medium stiffness and they feel closely like OEM shocks.

Koni's are great. I believe they also have sets that are shorter as far as rod length. This way if you put lowering springs they don't compress or compress as much thus lowering shock travel.

konis are out of my price range so im planning on getting the tokico illuminas or kyb agx. anyone run with these and what setting do you have them on? i'd like to have as smooth of a ride as possible as this is my DD and i drive evrywhere :D

I vouch for Tokico's. I had them on setting 3, rode great.

I've heard good things about both the Tokikos and the Koni Yellows. From what I've been told, the Konis are much better if you ever plan to run the car seriously on a road course or autocross it. I'm guessing you don't though (since you have a 420a) and I know the Tokikos ride pretty nice for a dd.

Don't underestimate the 420a powah! Naw but seriously, he can make the car fast one day and spank us all, you never know! :nono:

^^^ yup i can boost & smash on you! LOL j/k. but looks like im going with the illuminas. i just got offered a great deal for rears from a fellow dsmer so all i need to buy is the fronts.

Good choice, you'll love them.

I've had bad luck with tokico's. Had a set start leaking on me after about 5k miles.
Damn that sucks :( I have had three sets in different cars and they've been great.

Tokico come with lifetime warranty IIRC. You'll love the Illumina's. Would have loved the Koni's even more

IIRC they do. They give you the little warranty card, I might have it still. I'll see if I can find it to let you'll know.

EDIT: Ok does this mean it's lifetime, or one year?
