Hey tuners. Just bought a set of Tein s-tech springs. Slow-boy says they can be used with factory oem replacement shocks. Now, I have done some reading and read some controversies to this. What i really want to know is. What shock/strut will handle this 1.5 reported drop for around 100 a piece. I would consider adjustables. thanks alot.

AGX, Tokico, and Koni make nice affordable adjustables. Keep in mind the AGX and Tokico adjust bound and rebound together (not 100% on the Koni). Depending on your performance requirements this might not matter.

Tokico doesn't make shocks for the 1G. Your choices are basically KYB AGX and Koni if you want adjustables. Having said that, you're not going to get Koni's brand new for around $100 each.

I'm running GR-2's with those springs no problem.

I've had them in for a year now. I havn't noticed any wear from when they were first installed. I'd say should last as long as an OEM one.
