Tein Flex Suspension

The suspension pictured above is not for the mitsubishi eclipse. It is a generic picture from the tein website. Its purpose is to show you what the tein suspension generally looks like.

Take apart your front suspension and you will see why....

well I have the Tein Flex suspension installed on the GSX and all I have to say is WOW. I have the GSX lowered almost as much as the GST but the difference in ride quality is amazing. The GSX is not harsh at all, its a nice and soft ride even though Im over a 2" drop.

You can see some pics installed on the car @ http://www.newcelica.org/larryd/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=album26

I agree completely. The Tein Flex has a fairly high spring rate and aluminum upper mounts, yet the ride is not harsh at all. Truly an excellent suspension well worth the money.

well i was already convinced on the tein flex's but now i cant wait. thanks fellas.

jesus christ your car is dirty, larry. :thumb:

Hey Larry - Do you know anybody who has put a flex on their 2G FWD and how the ride is on that? If not, do you think it should be very similar to your 2G AWD?

Besides the ride quality, how does it handle? Have you really pushed it yet? Taken it to an autocross event? I want to hear more!

Thanks!

Ive only had it on the car for about a week now so no I havent pushed it. I still have my settings at 6 of 16 and the car handles pretty damn good so far.

No clue about the FWD version.
