I have a technics amp and speaker, that runs from a wall socket in my house, and it has a big speaker box with a 10" sub and a 2" tweeter. I don't have any documentation from it, and googling it is not giving me any help. On the back it says PowerSource: AC60Hz 120V 330VA 260W. Is there any way I can power this from my car?

LOOK THERE IS WAY YOU CAN HOOK IT UP TO YOUR CAR. IF IT PLUGS INTO THE WALL CUT OFF THE PLUG AND CUT THE WIRES TO HOOK UP TO THE AMP,AND YOU SHOULD BE ALRIGHT. :thumb:

i dont have a few spare hundred to buy an amp and a sub, and i already like how this one sounds...anyone have an idea if it will work

You could wire up an AC Power Inverter, but that would be very tacky, having a home stereo in your car.... Just save up and buy somthing fairly cheap, but high quality such as Infinity, blaupunkt, alpine,JL(if you want to spend more), ETC, stay away from Pyle, Legacy, and other cheapo stuff, but those brands lower end stuff should satisfy you..

Most likely the speakers are rated @ 8 ohms, so you CAN install at least that. Of course you do have to wire that correctly (parallel or series) to a car amp that can handle it. About the house amp, don't bother.
