What speakers will work best with the stock cd player/amp? I know they need to be effiecient, but what speakers will have just as good of bass, and get louder and cleaner.

anything will work, but it wont sound good because the stock deck and amp are really crapy, and because the stock housings for the speakers blow ass too.

you could always just get some pioneer 3 ways and call it quits, or you could get some 6x9 speaker enclosures, cotton them, stick a new amp under the passenger seat, get a new deck, wire all that shit up, and it will be infinitely better. just depends on how much work and money you want to throw at it.

personally i just have two way 6x9's in the back stock enclosure mounts with the stock infiniti amp and a new deck. they dont put out all that much bass, but thats what my 12's are for.

I did have an aftermarket deck, 15" aluminum audiobahn and a mtx 1000d amp. But then I decided to save weight, got rid of the amp and sub. Then it sounded liek complete ass since the OEM amp was bypassed so I put the stock headunit back in and it sounds WAY better. But now I notice the driver side dash speaker is blown, so I have to replace those, should I just leave the rest alone? The previous owner put blaupunkt 5.25"'s in the doors. Stock 6x9's still.

as with almost everything else in life, the more it costs the better it'll be. just try to getsome thing thats close to the stock output (30Wx4 ?)

Im pulling my 2 12" subs and amp out of the back to reduce weight/save my hearing (what?) but I have Xplode 6x9s (I know they are crap but they only cost me 70 bux for the pair) and they do the job.
I have a set of lexan tweenters for the dash you can HAVE if you want them (I cant figure out how to installem and it not look weird)

 I know exactly what you mean about saving hearing, I say what all the time, that was also part of the reason I took it out. I think I will order some rockford 3.5's and alpine 6x9's from crutchfield. They seem to be the most effecient while still having quality.
