A front lower tie bar isn't a bad idea, I plan on picking up either the Tanabe one or the Road/Race bar myself some time in the near future. However, a rear lower tie bar is not needed for 2g DSMs. Our cars come suffciently braced from the factory.

ive read that we dont need one however i think im going to get it anyway just so its done and makes it newer if that makes sence it may not make a big difference buy im sure it will help a bit

I understand, but it really will make no difference what so ever. You'd be better off spending that money else where. Just read these two posts (both by wisemen mind you) and then make your decision..

Tanabe Rear Chassis Stiffener
what lower rear tie bar should I get?

For the rear, all you need is the sway bar and maybe a strut tower bar. If you do both those things and still feel the need to shore up the rear some more, look at the DGI Chassis Strengthening Bar. At least that would make something of a difference.

ive read your items and i see what other people were saying and im not trying to be a honda LOL but i am wanting to make it look nicer under there as i will be turning it into a show car with a little speed LOL and as the the chassis bar im getting a roll cage anyway so that will just be a waste of money for me. i need to gey the under neath of the car protected and coated again so while its all off im going to renew alot of the parts thanks for the info and threads buddy
