Ok, I am looking at purchasing the Tanabe Pro S-OC Coilovers. I did a search but could not find any info on them here. Has anyone had any info on these for my 95 NT?

Tanabe makes some quality stuff. Can't really go wrong with the parts they make.

Thanks for the responses. I think I will go with the Tanabe coil over system. On the same note, has anyone heard anything on Skunk 2 springs. Modacar has a koni red struts and skunk 2 combo for 629 any comments?

That seems a bit high priced for the spring/strut combo.

For a little more than $629 you can go with the Megan Racing Coilover which has proven to work pretty well.

I looked at megan too, all the sites that I looked at were over a grand for the megans or didnt ship to an APO.

Sorry to revive an old thread.

Since I'm planning to get a 16g Evo III turbo, I, too have been interested in Tanabe Sustec S-0C Coilovers (so that the car can also turn faster with a stiffer suspension, haha). Reason is because adjustable ride height will be (Eibach Prokit with Tokico Illuminas) more useful to me than adjustable dampening. That left me with two options (on my budget): Tein and Tanabe. Then I took a look at the range of the height adjutment on those kits:

Tein: -1.2" to -2.9" front, -0.6" to -2.4" rear. Spring rates about 100% stiffer than stock.
Tanabe: +0.75" to -1.25" front, +0.25 to -1.75" rear. Spring rates about 50% stiffer than stock. Still stiffer than Eibach's Prokit, though.

So Tein ranges from "low" to "very low" whereas Tanabe ranges "high" to "low". Tanabe's range seems more appropriate for me since it's quite hard to get out of my building's garage without hitting the floor with my bumper even at stock height, not to mention some speedbumps here and other garages that hit the middle part of the car no matter how slow I go...

tl;dr version: I'm interested in Tanabe's coilovers, too. Did you get them? Did you like them?

Also, on adjusting the ride height. Is it easy or do I have to lift the car, take off the wheel, etc.? Can I at least adjust the front easily? Thanks guys!
