i do plan on shaving mine down in the future and putting tint on it. i was able to get the raised letters to shine because ive been polishing. i finished off with 2000grit and the mothers aluminum polish..later im gonna use a buffer and itll be smooth as factory..before when i tried to tint my tails the guy said i couldnt and i was pissed. i dont like the way nightshades look so thats my next option.

So how would I properly go about sanding the color off w/out making it uglified with scratches. Ist his really as easy as it seems? And clean gunmetal car, amazing. Stay tuned for a black talon now.

man, now im super bummed that I swapped my talon taillights over to Eclipse taillights. That looks super hot, great find!

Ah, wasn't that hard. Paint came off pretty easy. I'll post a pic tomm. when daylight comes.

Looks good! But like said earlier you should paint the top half red. Me and my friend painted his top half red with $2 can of candy red model spray paint and it worked amazingly! Its been snowin, hailin, pourin and windy here and the paints held up great so far and its even been washed a couple time! It looks so much better all red IMO.

well if i wanted to do it i wouldve by now, but i dont,
too much red i think it looks ridiculous
i may put a touch of tint but im gonna try it out on some spare tails first

if you could make the red match perfectly it would look good, but you can't, so I think it always looks like a DIY job, and any good DIY job doesn't look like a DIY = )
