It kind of sounds like your timing has jumped you might want to check that out right away, the easiest way is to take the plug out of number 1 and stick a screwdriver down the hole and then turn it to the top of the stroke then look at the spark timing marks.

Like stated above.. i would check timing.. My 2g did the same thing.. came out of the movies and started it.. it was idleing at 10in of vacume.. very ruff.. on the way home.. bye bye valves do to a loose centric pully...
